Hey flowers, how are you all? Hope you’re super well.
So the news this month is all about going on tour later this year with these super singers from youtube, namely Rick C, Tom Milsom, Jake Walmsley, Alex Day (aka nerimon), Dave Bass (aka daveyboyz), Eddplant and Matt Wright. If you haven’t seen them yet go and check them out at once. They’re all big time talented and I’m so excited about potentially sharing a stage with them (as well as grateful to have been asked at all!).
The plan is we will be touring the O2 arenas around the UK so we’ll be able to meet you fine people and have a great time performing live… So I will let you all know about dates for that as soon as I can. I am awaiting instruction from the great minds behind the tour at the moment. And if we pull it off it will also be a wonderful display of artists performing for their supporters without the backing of a label. Hurrah! DIY music!
The last gig went very well so thank you to everyone who made it along. Really feel like I’m finding my feet now on the stage so a little more strutting around – perhaps I’ll introduce a leotard or something to make myself seem more performer-y. Thoughts? Maybe not… Also myself and my very good friend Richard have been writing up a storm so more originals will be online soon. I want to say hurrah again now but feels a bit samey to end two paragraphs in a similar manner.
Aaaaaaaand this month did a couple more videos which seem to have gone down pretty well – my favourite being the one below. Let me know what you think.

Also, excited as have uploaded two new videos in the last two days so it’s always nerve-wracking awaiting the response (Do they think it’s crap? Are they going to say I look ill/ugly/like a slag? Will there be a pointless scrap in the comments?). So far so good though on these ones…

And finally, and perhaps most excitingly. I HAVE GOT TO GRIPS WITH TWITTER. I can’t explain how embarrassingly bad at understanding it I have been but I have got there… Finally. So that’s something.
An amazing chap out there called Zerokun extremely kindly created this page for me so (if I can figure out how to work it) I will come here from time to time to express thoughts, musings and music.
I would firstly like to say a couple of things. I have been very lucky on youtube. I have managed to meet and talk to some amazing, kind, supportive and (in all kinds of ways) super people. And I am very flukey to have managed this. So this year I plan to work really hard to be worthy of the support I’ve managed to get from you kind people.
So here is a written pledge and if I don’t stick to it, you can all kick me. I will upload at least one video a month. I will stop being so private with my original songs and just start flinging them out there for your judgement. I will try my hardest to write back to each and every message I get.
Also, I’ll do some hard gigging this year so I can meet a few more of you in real life (!!) kicking off with a gig on Feb 17th in Shoreditch, London. So if any of you are around, come on down! And below is a video (first of many) with a sneak peak of what will be played there…
